We used to somewhat be considered friends, before she confessed to being partially responsible for thousands of deaths. Part of me wants things to be the way they were before I knew that about her. The other half has me telling her she's a mass murderer every time we manage to speak to each other.
Then that's a start. You don't think she's a bad person and you still want to be friends with her.
I understand being cautious around her because of the whole murder thing, but...I think it's more important to judge someone on how they are now than what they've done before, especially if they're trying to make a fresh start. Considering she's been honest about what she's done and hasn't done anything to hurt other people here, I'm willing to trust her.
But the only person who can convince you to do the same is you.
[Up to this point in his conversation with Annie, presumably some time after Sanageyama is back from work, and almost immediately after Inumuta is back from classes, he will be all up in Sanageyama's face.]
[SHOVES. Not often the nerd takes the physical approach.]
I said I wanted advice, I didn't want you to get involved!!
[Which he only found out... by getting involved. He had a feeling Sanageyama might try something like this, what with being Mr. Power In Friendship over here, Inumuta took the chance to hack into Annie's inbox. And sure enough... There it was. Proof of contact, within the last 24 hours.]
[It's actually such a surprising turn of events he takes like, a single step back after he's shoved; very briefly, his stance becomes far more stable and he clenches his fists, almost like he's going to raise them - but he stops himself from actually doing it, becoming less tense, slipping back into a more relaxed stance instead. It's just an instinctual reaction from his days as a delinquent, from having gotten shoved a lot since he was so small back then.]
How the hell did you even find out? Did she tell you already??
[And, funnily enough, since Inumuta doesn't do a whole lot of shoving people to begin with, when Sanageyama takes his instinctive stance to fight back, Inumuta almost flinches away at that point. He doesn't fully flinch, but the reaction to step back and hold up his arms was certainly there. Aaaand, moment over.]
I was spying on you! I knew you'd try to talk to her about this, so I went to make sure, and sure enough! You're talking to her about the exact thing I didn't want you to! Now she's going to think I'm incapable of dealing with a situation like this on my own! I mean.... Yes, you helped me figure some things out, but you didn't need to go further than that!

Do you think Annie is a bad person?
no subject
... But no. I don't think she is a bad person.

[That's all true. It also makes him feel a little better, that if Sanageyama says he would trust her...]
Thank you, Uzu. I'll take this into consideration.

[He knows you were probably more shitty then usual to her because of this, hence suggesting he apologize. Don't even deny it.]
no subject
[He was way shittier than usual, but he also probably isn't going to apologize, because he's kind of an asshole.]

[As in no. She didn't tell him.]

Oi, c'mon...[Hands up, open, more of a defensive gesture than anything.]...you're really blowing this out of proportion, aren't you?
no subject
[Alright, not a fair comparison
Or is it?]no subject
That depends, does he have a crush on Annie. But really, that'd depend on what they're talking about. For the most part Sanageyama is a pretty open guy.]
...alright. Alright.
Look, I'm sorry - but you read what I said. You can see where I'm coming from, trying to get involved, right?
no subject
Short blonds...You know what he's implying there, Uzu.]
...
I know what you're trying to do, and I appreciate the thought.
[A sigh.]
Leave it to me to mess up my first friendship with someone I wasn't introduced to by Lady Satsuki.

[Entirely, anyway.]
She said she's not against the idea. That's something.
no subject
[Which is a little uplifting.]
...I'll be sure to speak to her soon.
[SURPRISE, SHE MESSAGES HIM FIRST AND GIVES HIM A HEART ATTACK.]
